PRIVATE DONOR BRIEFING
Confidential overview of the Elle Fisher Foundation and its first sanctuary model.

Elle Fisher Foundation is a registered
501(c)(3) nonprofit organization,
enabling tax-efficient giving
for U.S. donors.
This briefing outlines the development of the Elle Fisher Foundation and its first sanctuary model.
A GAP IN CARE THAT HAS NEVER BEEN PROPERLY ADDRESSED
Suicide loss creates a level of destabilization that existing systems are not designed to hold.
Clinical environments are structured to address pathology.
Informal support lacks consistency and continuity.
Between the two, there is no defined model for immediate, non-clinical, residential care following suicide loss.
As a result, individuals are often left to navigate the most acute phase of grief without environments designed to stabilize them.
This gap is structural, not incidental.
A NEW MODEL
OF CARE FOR SUICIDE LOSS
The Elle Fisher Foundation is establishing a sanctuary-based model designed specifically for this gap.
This is not an extension of clinical care, and not a retreat model.
It is a residential environment where individuals can arrive without pressure, expectation, or clinical framing — and be supported through rest, stability, and consistent human presence.
The model is built on the understanding that recovery cannot begin without first restoring a baseline of physical and emotional stability.
This creates the conditions required for any longer-term process to follow.

SAMSĀRA SANCTUARY The First Location
Samsāra Sanctuary is the first physical expression of this model and is currently in development.
It is designed as a residential refuge with limited capacity and a high standard of care.
The environment will include:
-
private rooms
-
shared spaces
-
structured daily rhythm
-
consistent, non-clinical support
This is not a high-volume model.
It is intentionally controlled, with an emphasis on depth of care rather than scale of intake.
The objective is to establish a clear and uncompromised standard for what this model represents.

Samsāra is the first location within a broader, scalable framework.
Future locations will follow a consistent operational model, maintaining the same standards of environment, care, and intake.
The objective is not rapid expansion.
It is precise replication.
Each location is intended to extend access without diluting the integrity of the model.
This approach ensures that scale does not compromise the experience or the standard being established.
Designed for replication,
not expansion
Curent
stage of development
The project is currently in early-stage development.
Work is focused on:
-
site direction and feasibility
-
architectural and interior planning
-
operational model definition
-
initial donor alignment
This stage is foundational.
Decisions made here will define the standard for all future locations.
Initial capital allocation
Initial funding will be directed toward the development of the first sanctuary.
This includes:
-
site acquisition or long-term lease
-
architectural and interior design
-
build-out and furnishing
-
operational model development
-
Initial staffing and training
Capital at this stage is used to establish both the physical environment and the underlying model.
SUICIDE LOSS REQUIRES A DIFFERENT KIND OF CARE.
THIS IS WHAT WE ARE BUILDING.

FOUNDING DONOR PARTICIPATION
A small group of founding donors is being assembled to support the creation of the first sanctuary and establish the foundation of this model.
Participation at this stage is limited and intentional.
Those involved are not contributing to an existing system.
They are part of what defines it.
Founding donors will receive direct updates throughout development and will be positioned as early contributors to a new category of care.
This briefing is shared selectively.

For those who understand what is being built and want to be part of its early formation.
We will reach out directly as select opportunities to support and shape the foundation become available.
