For the ones
left behind
after suicide.
The Elle Fisher Foundation is raising funds to build Samsara Sanctuary,
a healing home for suicide-loss survivors.
Samsara will be a place of rest, refuge, nourishment, and compassionate care for people carrying the long aftermath of suicide loss.
Crisis care exists. Therapy exists. Support groups exist.
But for many survivors, there is still no place to go when the funeral ends, the messages stop, and the world expects them to keep going.
We are building that place.

THE CURRENT SYSTEM
IS NOT BUILT
FOR WHAT COMES
AFTER
After a suicide death, support often fades just as the real aftermath begins.
Families and loved ones may be left carrying shock, guilt, exhaustion, isolation, and a grief many people do not know how to talk about.
There are crisis lines for people at immediate risk.
There are therapists, if someone can find one, afford one, and is ready to speak.
There are support groups, often once a month, often difficult to walk into.
But there is still a missing bridge between suicide loss and long-term healing.
Short-term intervention exists. Long-term refuge does not.
The result is a growing population of survivors trying to keep going without a place designed to help them rest, recover, and begin again.
THIS
IS WHAT
WE ARE BUILDING.

WHERE TRADITIONAL SUPPORT
FALLS SHORT

1
Support ends
too soon
Most support fades after the immediate crisis, but suicide-loss survivors often need care for months and years.
2
Not everyone is ready to talk
After traumatic loss, some survivors are not ready to explain, process, or speak. They need rest before words.
3
Cost Blocks Recovery
Long-term grief support, therapy, travel, and time away from work are often out of reach.
Samsara Sanctuary
is being built for this gap:
a place of rest, refuge, and care
for those left behind after suicide.

INTRODUCING SAMSARA SANCTUARY
Samsara Sanctuary is the flagship initiative of Elle Fisher Foundation.
It is being created as a residential healing home for suicide-loss survivors: a place where those carrying profound grief can rest, be nourished, and receive compassionate care.
Not a retreat.
Not a clinical facility.
Not a temporary escape.
A home.
Samsara will offer survivors the conditions grief often takes away: quiet, safety, nourishment, routine, dignity, and human presence.
Guests will not be asked to perform healing.
They will be given space to sleep, eat, breathe, be cared for, and slowly begin again.
WHAT SAMSARA
OFFERS
Samsara Sanctuary is being designed around the simple things grief and trauma often take away.
Rest.
Quiet.
Nourishment.
Safety.
Gentle routine.
Human presence.
Nature.
Dignity.
Compassionate care.
Survivors will be welcomed into a calm residential setting where they can breathe,
sleep, eat, walk, be held, and slowly return to themselves.
There will be no pressure to be okay.
No demand to explain everything.
No expectation to heal on anyone else’s timeline.
Only steady care, quiet support, and a safe place to begin again.
Elle Fisher Foundation exists for suicide-loss survivors.
The parents.
The children.
The siblings.
The partners.
The friends.
The families.
The communities.
The people left carrying the loss after someone they love has died by suicide.
We believe survivors deserve more than sympathy.
They deserve care.
They deserve refuge.
They deserve somewhere to go.
WHO WE SERVE
WHY NOW

Suicide loss does not end after the funeral.
For many survivors, the hardest part begins after everyone else goes home.
The first weeks are often filled with shock and practical decisions.
The first months can bring isolation, guilt, anger, spiritual pain, family strain, and deep exhaustion.
The first year can feel impossible.
And too often, survivors are left to manage all of it alone.
Elle Fisher Foundation is building a new model of care for this forgotten space: not crisis intervention, not clinical treatment, but long-term refuge for those left behind.

FOUNDER
ElLLE FISHER

I know what it means to search for a place that does not exist.
After a suicide loss, people often tell you to keep going.
They mean well. But sometimes what you need is not advice.
It is not another appointment. It is not another person asking if you are okay.
Sometimes you need a door to open.
You need a quiet room.
You need food placed in front of you.
You need someone to sit beside you without asking you to explain the pain.
Samsāra Sanctuary is being built from that need.
It is the place I wish existed for survivors.
Now, through Elle Fisher Foundation, we are raising the funds to build it for others.
For the ones left behind.
For the ones still carrying it.
For the ones who need somewhere to begin again.
