The Elle Fisher Foundation is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe access to information about grief, suicide loss support, and how to get involved should not depend on someone's ability to navigate a website easily.
This statement covers ellefisherfoundation.org and samsarasanctuary.org. It addresses the accessibility of our digital properties only. As Samsāra Sanctuary's physical facility is developed, physical accessibility (building access, room design, and related requirements) will be addressed separately and is not covered by this statement.

Our commitment
We aim to meet or exceed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. This includes working toward:
Text that can be resized without losing functionality. Sufficient color contrast for readability. Keyboard navigation for users who cannot use a mouse. Alternative text for meaningful images. Clear, consistent navigation across all pages. Compatibility with screen readers and other assistive technologies.
Current conformance status: We have not yet completed a formal WCAG conformance audit of this website. Until that audit is complete, this statement reflects our commitment and ongoing effort rather than a verified conformance level. We will update this section with our actual conformance status (non-conformant, partially conformant, or fully conformant) once an audit has been performed.
Ongoing efforts
Accessibility is not a one-time fix. As we continue to build and refine this website, we are working to identify and correct accessibility barriers as they're found, and to test new pages and features against accessibility standards before they go live.
We treat pages related to crisis support, including our Crisis Resources page, as a priority for accessibility testing — someone reaching that page in acute distress is often the least able to work around a barrier, so it gets tested first and most carefully.
We review this statement at least once a year, and whenever we make significant changes to the website.

Some content on this site — including embedded forms, payment processors, and social media widgets — is provided by third-party platforms. While we choose vendors with accessibility in mind where possible, we cannot guarantee the accessibility of all third-party tools embedded on our site.
